Job Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Specialist/Shop Floor Assistant role involves receiving, processing, production assistance, inventory and shipment of orders for all customers. Must be detail oriented and able to work independently. Problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work with production management. Primary Responsibilities of the Job: Performs raw inventory receipt entry in the system of record • Performs raw and finished inventory cycle counts and enters customer reconciliation reports in the computer system • Researches inventory discrepancies • Processes specialized customer transactions for returns • Assists in the finishing production of product • Operate production equipment • Performs Quality Control checks on finished product • Pulls/Packs individual orders per the requirements which are specific to each customer • Generates shipping paperwork (BOLs, Manifests) that may include calculating truck weight and determining load capacity • Answers basic questions about delivery and inventory • Answers emails regarding basic questions about inventory, transportation scheduling, etc. (internal customers) • Performs general administrative work that includes, but is not limited to the following items: entering POI data, filing/record retention.

Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies Perform cycle counts, restock shelving with products received & identify parts with labeled packaging & bin location, maintain organization of inventory Assist in maintaining the order, cleanliness and efficiency of the warehouse

Shop Floor Provides assistance to Machine assembly, pull accessory parts, stage orders and other tasks to be determined

Plant Safety Adhere to company personnel and safety policies Ensure health and safety procedures are followed Participate in safety trainings and report unsafe conditions to Plant Manager.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to stand, bend, lift in excess of 50 lbs. repeatedly each day Ability to bend, stoop, squat, push, and pull parts and part containers Ability to use tools in Shop environment, drills, saws, crate/skid building etc. Ability to stand for long periods of time each day

Experience & Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Some College Preferred Computer Literate Data Entry/Typing 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training preferred Possess organizational, problem solving and time management skills Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision

Communication Skills: Ability to initiate and maintain relationships with internal and external customers • Ability to create accurate, meaningful and professional correspondence.
