Position Description:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Transportation Team to enhance infrastructure in Ohio, with offices in Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati. The candidate must be a licensed Professional Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities include:
Managing transportation projects and technical tasks, including budget, schedule, and technical requirements.
Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Overseeing project performance, profitability, and compliance with safety standards.
Designing transportation components such as roadways, bridges, and traffic plans, and preparing reports according to standards.
Conducting and leading client meetings and project reviews.
Desired Skills and Experience:
PE license, with the ability to obtain in multiple states.
Over 10 years of experience in roadway or transportation engineering.
Experience with Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) standards, including plan preparation, cost estimation, and scheduling.
Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and familiarity with ORD software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Leadership ability to mentor junior staff.
