Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Early Intervention (EI) team. In this role, you will support infants and toddlers enrolled in New Mexico’s FIT Program, helping children reach their developmental potential through assessment, treatment, and family-centered coaching.
You will work closely with families and a transdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based services addressing speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and feeding/swallowing needs.
Key Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and assessments aligned with IFSP goals and outcomes Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide face-to-face EI services and family coaching Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team members Attend Transdisciplinary Team Consultation Meetings (TTCM) Complete required EI documentation and meet billing deadlines Participate in 6-month IFSP reviews and eligibility evaluations Monitor progress and communicate outcomes to families Supervise SLP-CF and/or ASL staff as needed Ensure compliance with FIT Program guidelines
Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active New Mexico SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention preferred) Bilingual English/Spanish required Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance

Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, move frequently throughout the day, and perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, reaching, and navigating varied environments, including travel between service locations.
