Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Early Intervention (EI) program, serving children ages birth to three in Anthony, NM and surrounding areas. In this role, you will promote mobility, movement, and functional development while empowering families with strategies to support progress within daily routines. You will collaborate closely with families and a transdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, family-centered therapy for children with genetic, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate and address client diagnoses and treatment needs aligned with IFSP goals Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide face-to-face EI services and maintain strong family communication Deliver IFSP services weekly in accordance with program standards Participate in Transdisciplinary Team Consultation Meetings (TTCM) Monitor treatment effectiveness and communicate progress to families Complete EI documentation, Daily Notes, and Delivered Service Logs accurately and on time Meet EI billing and compliance requirements Conduct evaluations to determine continued eligibility for the FIT program Participate in 6-month IFSP reviews Empower families with strategies to support developmental milestones Supervise a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) when applicable Complete required benchmarks and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program Active New Mexico Physical Therapy license Prior experience as a Physical Therapist (pediatric or EI experience preferred) Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Strong ethical judgment, problem-solving, and adaptability Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance for home-based services

Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and navigating varied environments, including stairs, ramps, and uneven terrain. Driving between service locations is required.
