Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in Lowell, MA, this part-time contract position offers an opportunity to support K-12 students as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or School Adjustment Counselor. This role is designed to provide critical behavioral and social-emotional support within the school setting during the 2025/2026 school year. The position allows for a flexible schedule ranging from 8 to 25 hours per week, typically between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with adjustments available to best fit your availability. As a key member of the support team, you will focus on behavior intervention, social work services, and guidance counseling to promote student success and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized intervention plans Provide counseling and social work services to students exhibiting behavioral and emotional challenges Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to address student needs Facilitate guidance counseling sessions and support academic and social development Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly Desired Qualifications: Valid LMHC, LCSW, LSW license, or certification as a School Adjustment Counselor Experience working as a behavior specialist, social worker, or guidance counselor in a K-12 school environment Strong understanding of behavioral health interventions and school-based mental health services Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work flexibly within school hours Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) with matching, and competitive weekly pay.
