Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or School Adjustment Counselor to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This part-time position offers flexibility, working between 8 to 25 hours per week within school hours (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), with potential schedule adjustments to accommodate individual needs. The contract covers the 20252026 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience in schools as a Behavior Specialist, Social Worker, or Guidance Counselor and possess strong skills in student support and mental health interventions. Supporting and enhancing student well-being through counseling and guidance services is central to this role. Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop support plans that promote positive student outcomes. Assess student needs and coordinate community resources when necessary. Facilitate crisis intervention and promote mental health awareness within the school environment. Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality requirements. Qualifications: Valid LMHC, LCSW, LSW license, or certification as a School Adjustment Counselor. Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage caseload efficiently and work collaboratively with school teams.
