is hiring for a Scrum Master role in San Francisco, CA (Hybrid).

Job Role As a Scrum Master / Senior Scrum Master, you will be a key member of the Agile team, coaching, mentoring, and facilitating Agile practices. You will protect the team from interference, remove impediments, and ensure delivery of sprint goals and PI objectives. You will foster high‑performing team dynamics, continuous process flow, and relentless improvement.
Responsibilities
Plan, lead, organize, and coach one or more cross‑functional teams on Agile practices.
Facilitate sprint planning, task definition, execution, impediment removal, tracking, review, and retrospectives.
Act as the primary communication hub between program/product management and the application development team to foresee risks and organize activities.
Facilitate discussion, decision‑making, and conflict resolution by encouraging transparency and trust.
Work with Product Owners and Managers to support short‑ and long‑term release planning and maintain a healthy backlog.
Partner with program and release managers in production deployment activities.
Lead the analysis, tracking, and communication of team’s Agile adoption and progress metrics (velocity, burn‑down, cycle time, etc.).
Act as a change agent and adapt processes to maximize productivity.
Ensure efficient communication between the Agile team and product owners and other Scrum teams.
Manage and resolve dependencies across Scrum teams.
Drive cross‑functional projects of medium to complex scope.
Coach teams on user story sizing, acceptance criteria, and Agile practice improvement.
Coordinate Scrum‑of‑Scrums activities across teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 5 years of IT work experience, including 1 year of Scrum execution in an IT or software development setting.
Knowledge of multiple Agile development methodologies and frameworks.
Understanding of iterative and incremental development fundamentals.
Proven leadership of teams.
Preferred certifications: PMI‑ACP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent.
Experience with Agile tools, including Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence.
Experience with Scrum and Scaled Agile.
Pay Range $95.00 – $102.00
