Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 8:15 AM – 6:00 PM
Fridays: 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $28–$30/hour (commensurate with experience)
Position Overview: The Adventure Specialist leads our middle school Theme Parks Camp, a high-energy, off-site program that takes campers to theme parks, local attractions, and outdoor destinations around the Bay Area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, is confident managing groups on the go, and has strong logistical and safety awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead daily off-site excursions for middle school campers
Ensure camper safety, supervision, and engagement during all field trips
Coordinate transportation logistics, check-ins, and schedules
Communicate with camp leadership, parents, and vendors as needed
Manage camper behavior and foster positive group dynamics during outings
Prepare daily materials (tickets, waivers, first aid, supplies, etc.)
Qualifications Qualifications:
Experience working with middle school-aged youth in recreational or educational settings
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Confidence managing groups in public/outdoor settings
Familiarity with the Bay Area and local attractions a plus
Must be able to lift and carry gear, stand/walk for extended periods, and remain calm under pressure
This is a seasonal position with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. Candidates should be enthusiastic, safety-conscious, and ready to deliver memorable experiences for older campers.
