Position Responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery of the product roadmap across platform, integrations, AI features, and infrastructure
Lead, scale, and manage the in-house engineering team with clear planning, prioritization, timelines, and accountability
Ensure predictable, high-quality engineering output aligned with business priorities, emphasizing simplicity, stability, and speed
Own platform reliability, uptime, performance, testing, release management, and incident response
Establish processes that prevent regressions, eliminate recurring issues, and improve handoffs and ownership
Own engineering responsibility for HIPAA compliance, data security, access controls, and audit readiness
Partner cross-functionally to translate regulatory and contractual requirements into clear, practical engineering execution
Define and execute the technical strategy for EHR integrations, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and scalability
Operate with startup-level urgency while balancing speed and quality during rapid growth
Partner closely with Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Leadership to evolve from founder-led execution to a scalable operating cadence
Experience & Skills Required Experience and Qualifications
12+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
Prior experience as Head of Engineering, VP Engineering, or VP R&D in a SaaS company
Strong background in healthcare technology, regulated SaaS, or data sensitive platforms
Proven ability to scale in house engineering teams in a fast growth environment
Deep understanding of how startups actually operate, not just how they should operate on paper
Clear communicator who can translate technical reality into business language
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and operational discipline
Compensation $280k
