Duties and Responsibilities The position requires a highly motivated data scientist to perform hands‑on exploratory and regulatory‑related biomarker analysis including large‑scale proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics to develop prediction models and identify molecular endotypes for pulmonary diseases such as ARDS, sarcoidosis, sepsis, and trauma. The candidate will design data‑analysis protocols, implement cutting‑edge bioinformatics and biostatistics methods to integrate clinical and trans‑omics data, and contribute to publications and grant funding as a full‑time faculty member. Applicants should have a demonstrated ability to secure and manage their own grants and projects.
Qualifications
PhD and/or MD in bioinformatics, computer science, or biostatistics.
Strong analytical skills and experience with bioinformatics pipelines.
Experience in proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, or related high‑throughput data sets.
Ability to develop predictive models and identify molecular endotypes.
Excellent publication record and track record of securing research funding.
