Please note, effective September 1,2021, all Thundermist employees are required to have an initial dose of vaccine to prevent Covid-19. General Responsibilities Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth and gums and related oral structures by performing the following duties.
Required Qualifications
Doctoral Degree Dental Medicine/Surgery
Active license to practice dentistry in Rhode Island
Tactful in dealing with patients
Ability to work with others
Significant Job Functions Clinical
Extraction of diseased teeth
Education of patients in oral dental hygiene
Design and making of dentures
Filling cavities
Providing supervision to dental hygienists and dental assistants
Administrative
Makes chart notes
Referrals
Physical Effort/ Environment This role is onsite. Some standing. Extraction of teeth. Also requires use of finger and hand manipulation using instruments and dental equipment.
Work Schedule Demands The normal expected number of hours for this position is 40. May occasionally work over 40 hours.
Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written skills.
