This Senior Network Engineer will take
end-to-end ownership
of the firm’s network infrastructure, ensuring stability, scalability, and security across all environments. The role combines hands-on technical work with design, planning, and vendor coordination in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment. Key Responsibilities
Design, plan, and optimize network architectures across
LAN, WAN, and wireless environments Install, configure, and maintain
routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers Monitor network performance, analyze traffic, and lead root-cause resolution of outages Implement and maintain
network security controls
to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access Forecast capacity needs and plan upgrades to improve speed, resilience, and scalability Partner with vendors on escalations, support contracts, and technical issue resolution Maintain clear documentation, including
network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides Support infrastructure projects and other duties as needed in a dynamic environment Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on network infrastructure experience
(LAN, WAN, and wireless) Strong fundamentals in
TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, BGP, OSPF, and network security Proven experience diagnosing and resolving complex, multi-layer network issues Hands-on experience with
multi-vendor network hardware Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Bachelor’s degree preferred
(Computer Science, IT, or related), or equivalent professional experience Strong Plus Factors Experience in an
AmLaw 200 or larger law firm Relevant networking certifications Involvement with
ILTA
