Mid-to-Senior Level Healthcare Transactions Attorney
Location: Chicago, Columbus, Indianapolis, or Philadelphia (Hybrid Eligible)
MB Attorney Search is recruiting on behalf of a national law firm recognized for its collaborative culture and deep bench of legal talent. This AM Law 200 firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate to join its Healthcare Transactions Practice Group, supporting a dynamic and nationally respected team.
About the Role
You will work on cutting-edge health care transactions across the country, including:
Mergers and acquisitions
Joint ventures and strategic affiliations
Private equity transactions
Complex management and provider services agreements
Physician employment contracts
In addition to transactional work, you will advise health care providers on key regulatory issues such as:
Fraud and abuse laws (e.g., Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute)
State licensure and the corporate practice of medicine
Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement requirements
You will be part of a collegial, tight-knit team that values mentorship and growth, while enjoying the support, structure, and client base of a national firm. Attorneys in this group regularly collaborate across offices and practice groups, offering a strong platform for career development and client exposure.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic performance
Minimum of 4 years of health care transactional and regulatory experience, preferably in a large law firm or in-house counsel setting
Active bar license in the state where the candidate will reside
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong business judgment and the ability to manage complex projects
Team-oriented with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
Must have permanent U.S. work authorization

Competitive base compensation: $233,000 – $350,000, depending on experience and location
