Job Description
Job Description Salary: $17 - $20/Hour Thermal Specialties is looking for a Material Handler/Warehouse Associate for our Distribution Warehouse Division in Tulsa, OK. This individual needs to have strong work ethic and reliability and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Knowledge & Skills: Must have a
valid and active drivers license and be able to drive our company truck/box truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations as needed Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, storage yard, or vehicles Pull and package material for new orders. Unload floor-loaded stock trucks Perform daily cycle count Fabrication of custom insulation systems (pipe cover, elbows, metal jacketing) Operate fork lift or other machinery (saw, stomp shear, metal roller) in order to complete tasks Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.) Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same Demonstrated attention to detail and pride in your work Basic math skills and accuracy in reading a tape measure Working knowledge of fabrication preferred but not required Forklift experience preferred
Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work in extreme high/low temperatures and a physically demanding environment. Frequently required to stand for long periods of time.
