This role supports the fabrication and assembly of metal door components and requires hands-on welding skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel components used in commercial doors and frames Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and basic shop drawings Assemble, fit, and weld parts according to production specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely Inspect finished welds and parts to ensure quality standards are met Assist with grinding, cutting, and finishing welded assemblies as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals Qualifications Previous welding experience required (MIG welding preferred) Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience strongly preferred Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Ability to lift up to [weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and workmanship Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Preferred Skills (Not Required) Experience in commercial door or frame manufacturing Forklift or overhead crane experience Welding certifications Company Description Senneca Holdings is a diversified management and holding company whose companies are focused on the specialty door industry.
