Our team is responsible for planning and executing manufacturing operations to deliver high-quality products on time. As a Manufacturing Planner, your responsibilities may include:/pulliExecute Make, Buy, and Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities to support production schedules and material flow/liliCollaborate with various manufacturing functions, including Operations Management, Supply Chain Stakeholders, and Engineering to optimize production plans and capacity requirements/liliPerform planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and maintain production system integrity, drive inventory optimization and minimize cost. This includes maintaining MRP parameters, including lead times and lot sizes, and coordinating with Engineering to update BOMs appropriately/liliCoordinate with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control and execute production plans/liliAnalyze and control production schedules and capacity requirements to meet customer demands/liliExpedite and prioritize workflow through the supply chain to ensure on-time delivery of products/liliCollaborate with Supply Chain Stakeholders to determine time-phased plans for procured parts/li/ulpWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to join our Operations team in Archbald, PA. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance./ppBasic Qualifications:/pulliBachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 3 years of related professional level experience or 1 year of experience with a related Masters degree/liliExperience with SAP or equivalent MRP system/liliStrong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles/liliDemonstrated analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills/liliProficient in Microsoft Office Applications, with strong Excel skills/liliMust be able to work outside of normal operating hours, as required/liliAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship/li/ulpDesired Skills:/pulliDegree focused in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field/liliLean Six Sigma Green belt trained and/or certified/liliStrong interpersonal skills in a team environment/liliDemonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, and internal and external customers/liliExperience creating shipping documents/liliAbility to understand engineering drawings and parts/liliTableau Reporting/Data Analytics/liliExperience with Apriso/li/ulpSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration./ppClearance Level: Secret/ppOther Important Information You Should Know:/pulliExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match./liliAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility./liliWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
