Manufacturing Planner

You will be the Manufacturing Planner for the ATACMS team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products on schedule. As the Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible for managing the production schedule and analyzing material shortages for various programs. You will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of products and resolving any material shortages that may arise. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the production schedule to ensure on-time delivery of products
  • Analyzing material shortages and developing plans to resolve them
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Providing detailed reports and analysis to support business decisions

This position is in Dallas. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. Must be a U.S. citizen - this position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an Interim Secret clearance to start.

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
  • Knowledge of Material Management
  • Must be able to work outside of the normal operating hours, as required.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. The candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Desired skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, a represented workforce and internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract data, create and present critical schedule and material information
  • Experience with managing production schedules across multiple manufacturing and assembly locations
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
  • Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
