Overview

At Global Laser Enrichment (GLE), we’re scaling breakthrough nuclear technology and building the operational backbone to support it. We’re seeking a Logistics Specialist to establish and lead shipping, receiving, and inventory operations in a fast-growing, highly regulated environment. This role is Full-Time, On-Site, located in Wilmington, NC, and requires Q-Clearance (required or eligible). This is a hands-on, systems-driven role for someone who is equally comfortable operating a forklift and optimizing ERP workflows. You’ll play a critical role in keeping materials moving, inventories accurate, and projects on schedule. Why Join GLE

Build and scale core logistics operations from the ground up. Support mission-critical engineering and technology programs. Work in a collaborative environment where execution and precision matter. Competitive compensation, strong benefits, and long-term growth opportunity. Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams. Inspect and document incoming materials for accuracy, damage, security, and QA traceability. Manage staging, labeling, secure storage, and internal transfers. Resolve delivery delays and logistics-related supply chain issues. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records in NetSuite or related ERP/WMS systems; develop and manage labeling, binning, and cycle count processes; track critical components, tooling, and consumables for engineering, operations, and QA; support procurement planning, lead-time forecasting, and schedule alignment. Systems & Communication: Serve as the logistics point of contact across departments; configure and maintain logistics tools, dashboards, and workflows; streamline procurement-to-receipt processes through cross-functional collaboration. Continuous Improvement: Establish and maintain logistics SOPs; identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities; ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, NQA-1, ITAR, and site safety requirements; perform additional duties as needed to support operations. What You’ll Bring

3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations. Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems (NetSuite strongly preferred). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with QA traceability, documentation control, and safe material handling. Professional communication and strong collaboration skills. U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE/NRC Q-Clearance (or active clearance preferred). Preferred Qualifications

Active TS or Q Security Clearance. Forklift certification and material handling equipment experience. Supply chain or logistics certification. Nuclear or other highly regulated industry experience. Export control experience. Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment. Extended periods of standing, walking, or working at a computer. Ability to work in or near industrial environments. Important Note

Due to the sensitive nature of our work, U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a DOE/NRC Q-Clearance are required.
