Project Manager - Water Design Build Jacobs invites applicants for the Project Manager – Water Design Build role. The position offers a pay range of $145,500 to $220,110 per year, based on skills and experience.

As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you will lead design‑build teams across the U.S., protect water resources, and help grow the local marketplace by pursuing and winning projects.

Responsibilities

Overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on single or multiple assignments.

Implement the Design‑Build process, including alternatives, cost estimating, risk quantification, supply chain selection, project budgets, schedules, and all commercial aspects.

Manage projects from conception through completion, both large and small, in accordance with program objectives.

Manage budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures, and controls for assigned projects.

Oversee consultant invoices, contractor pay applications, change orders, and coordinate with the Control Manager for reporting.

Attend weekly progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes.

Resolve complex construction‑related issues, disputes, and disagreements.

Monitor construction database against scheduling and cost control reporting.

Maintain excellent client‑facing communication skills.

Multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or 15+ years of experience in lieu of the degree.

10+ years of experience in Design‑Build water, wastewater, water resources and/or conveyance work.

Preferred certifications: Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE), or Architect license.

Willingness to travel as required.

Physical ability to perform duties such as standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and handling repetitive hand movements in varying environments.
