Provide specialized speech-language services in a K-12 school setting in Indianapolis, focusing on student evaluations and collaboration within the SLP team. Contract position from ASAP through May 29, 2026, 37.5-hour workweek supporting approximately 5070 students.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to assess student needs.
Deliver targeted speech-language services to students across the K‑12 spectrum.
Collaborate closely with SLP colleagues, particularly supporting nonverbal life skills students.
Manage caseloads effectively, balancing high school and split assignments (K‑3 and 4‑6 grade levels).
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress with educators and families.
Qualifications
Valid Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology required.
Experience working in school settings preferred, particularly with diverse age ranges.
Strong evaluation and diagnostic skills focused on speech‑language disorders.
Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and support specialized student groups.
