Based in Carmel, IN, the position spans across one high school and a split caseload covering K‑3 and 4‑6 grades. This role requires collaboration with a team of SLP professionals dedicated to supporting nonverbal life skills students.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for a caseload of approximately 5070 students.
Deliver targeted speech-language interventions tailored to student needs.
Collaborate effectively with fellow SLP staff to develop individualized education plans and support strategies.
Monitor and document student progress in alignment with school policies.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the enhancement of speech-language programs.
Qualifications
Licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
Experience working in school settings, especially within K‑12, is highly desirable.
Strong skills in assessments, evaluations, and intervention planning for diverse student populations.
Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with educators and families.
Work Schedule And Details
Contract duration: ASAP through May 29, 2026.
Hours per week: 37.5.
Two positions available: one serving a high school caseload; the other split between K‑3 and 4‑6.
Engagement with approximately 5070 students, focusing heavily on evaluations and service coordination.
