Base Pay Range $77,200.00/yr - $106,200.00/yr

Job Overview The Home Health Nursing RN enables patients to stay in their homes by providing health and personal services and supporting patients and their families. Work assignments vary and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

Assesses and records patient condition by monitoring vital signs.

Administers treatments by dispensing medications, changing bandages, and administering oxygen supply and equipment.

Helps patients care for themselves and teaches family members assisted living techniques such as using a cane or walker, using special utensils to eat, and personal hygiene equipment.

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including linkages to related areas.

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, with minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.

Follows established guidelines and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.

CPR certification.

OSHA Certificate.

HIV/AIDS Certificate.

HIPAA Certificate.

Alzheimer’s Certificate.

Medical Errors Certificate.

Domestic Violence Certificate.

Valid in-state driver’s license, personal vehicle insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits.

Required to be screened for TB.

Schedule weekly hours: 40 hours per week.
