Florida Cancer Affiliates/Ocala Oncology Center is looking for a full-time Manager Clinical Services to join our team. This position will support the Ocala locations in Ocala, Florida. Why work for us?

Scope

Position will work in conjunction with, and by the direction of, the Director of Clinical Services to provide clinical support for operations to existing practice locations and newly acquired practices by consulting and advising clinicians on best-practices, implementing and providing education and training programs, and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities

Ensure clinical operations and practice are consistent with organizational objectives. Collaborates with practice management to provide support on operational projects such as site Quality Committees, Quality Oncology Practice Initiative site assessments, Advancing Care Information, the Oncology Care Model (OCM), and other special projects as assigned. Facilitates the implementation and/or utilization of outcomes data and evidence-based practices. Facilitates implementation of standardized best practices within the organization. Ensure practice standards of care are consistent with community standards of care. Ensure the incorporation of clinical evidence into existing and newly developed standards. Staff Development: assess staffing levels and issues, patient flow, and current practices in the clinical setting. Assist with the development of company-wide clinical competency testing and skills validation programs. Demonstrate working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules; coordinate employee staffing including vacations, sick leave and overtime. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): RN Required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or other clinical field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Advanced degree in nursing, healthcare or business field (MSN, MBA, MHA) preferred Current state licensure for applicable clinical education background Current CPR certification required Business Experience: Minimum five years clinical experience, in an oncology practice or clinic setting; Minimum one year of leadership experience Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Oncology certification preferred Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Traditional office environment. Work requires frequent travel by automobile within multi-site service area. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required. May require full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
