Facility Support Services - Maintenance Coordinator
Position Summary:
Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, clean, well‑kept, healthy and adequately supplied environment for clients and staff; under the direction and supervision of the Director of Operations.
Essential Job Functions:
Actively involved with conserving physical assets of the facility, both administratively and residentially.
Reviews and promptly responds to reports and recommendations as assigned and directed by Director of Operations.
Monitors day‑to‑day repairs and maintenance of the facility and reports all housing issues to Director of Operations.
Perform repairs, painting, small job installs, and other tasks on a timely basis.
Organization and positive accountability tools that may be harmful.
Product knowledge of appliances and warranty information as well as damage costs.
Accurately organize inventory facility supplies, equipment and tools.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Assists in new projects as required.
Submit weekly supply requests to Director of Operations.
Core Competencies:
Ability to organize, maintain and order supplies as needed.
Ability to manage time wisely to ensure that work orders are completed in a timely manner.
Complete facility walkthrough to ensure that the overall condition of the facility is maintained.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Knowledge, Education, & Experience:
High School Diploma
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations and trainings.
Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision‑making skills.
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and prioritize task with minimal supervision.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to do the following:
Engages in sustained power grasping and pushing/pulling motions
Exposure to dust, gas, odors, liquids, or fumes
Intermittent lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, transporting object usually by hand, arm, or shoulder
Working with hands: Seizing, holding, and grasping
Able to lift by raising or lowering an object from one level to another
The ability to respond quickly to emergency situations, which may involve running or moving rapidly.
Frequent standing and walking for extended periods, often throughout the entire shift.
Potential exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and hazardous materials, requiring adherence to safety and PPE protocols.
