Revolution Foods We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead enterprise‑wide accounting operations across our multi‑site food manufacturing business. This role is both strategic and hands‑on, with responsibility for financial close, cost accounting, inventory, financial reporting, internal controls, lender reporting, cash management, and team leadership. The Controller will play a critical role in rebuilding and modernizing the accounting function, implementing standardized policies and procedures, supporting an ERP implementation, and partnering cross‑functionally to improve accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across all sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven accounting leader with food or CPG manufacturing experience who enjoys solving complex problems, building teams, and creating scalable financial infrastructure. Responsibilities
Lead enterprise‑wide accounting operations across multiple manufacturing and distribution sites, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close in compliance with GAAP. Own internal and external financial reporting, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods; partner with FP&A to align actuals and forecasts. Lead cost accounting and inventory management, including standard costing, margin analysis, inventory valuation, and cycle counts; partner with Operations and Supply. Chain to improve cost visibility and accuracy. Manage cash activity and liquidity, including coordination with FP&A on a weekly 13‑week rolling cash forecast. Serve as a primary accounting contact for lenders, supporting borrowing base calculations, covenant compliance, and periodic reporting. Design, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures; support audits and ensure audit‑ready financials. Play a key role in ERP implementation and systems optimization, including chart of accounts, workflows, reporting, and data integrity. Lead, develop, and scale the accounting team; establish clear roles, accountability, and performance expectations. Support financial reporting for equity holders and the Board of Directors and participate in related discussions as needed. Partner cross‑functionally to standardize accounting practices, improve processes, and support operational decision‑making across sites. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred). 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including food manufacturing or CPG environments. Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory, and GAAP. Proven experience building or improving accounting functions, controls, and processes. Hands‑on leadership experience managing and developing teams. ERP implementation experience and comfort operating in multi‑site, complex environments. Experience supporting lender reporting and Board‑level financial materials. Strong problem‑solver with a practical, solutions‑oriented mindset. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable driving change and efficiencies. Effective communicator who partners well across functions. Salary Range: $220,000 - $250,000 Seniority level
