SharePoint Analyst - Remote / Telecommute Job Title: SharePoint Analyst - Remote / Telecommute Job Location: Edmonton, AB Job Type: Contract Responsibilities
The SharePoint Analyst will support complex SharePoint migration and decommissioning initiatives, focusing on SharePoint 2016 On-Premise to SharePoint Online environments. This role involves business analysis, solution design, migration coordination, and advanced technical support while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure minimal downtime and successful delivery of SharePoint solutions. Requirements / Must Have
Meets one of the following education and experience combinations: University degree in computer science or related discipline with relevant experience. Diploma or certificate in computer science or related discipline with extended relevant experience. Active professional certification or accreditation with extensive relevant experience. Experience as a Site Collection Administrator. Experience migrating content from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. Experience troubleshooting SharePoint forms and workflows. Experience using and supporting ShareGate. Experience with complex SharePoint solutions involving managed metadata, workflows, forms, and user interface customization. Experience developing, integrating, and supporting SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online environments. Experience
Hands-on experience supporting SharePoint migration and decommissioning projects. Experience providing second- and third-level technical support for SharePoint environments. Experience working on complex SharePoint projects in multi-stakeholder environments. Should Have
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience applying phased approaches to patches, updates, and migrations. Experience migrating applications or technologies between environments, including on-premise to cloud. Experience developing integrated system and technical design specifications. Experience using PowerShell for SharePoint administration tasks. Experience with disaster recovery testing. Familiarity with government information technology and information management policies and standards. Skills
