Responsibilities
Review and organize files; review docket for deadlines
Prioritize workload to meet foreign filing deadlines and due dates
Prepare and review appropriate correspondence from foreign patent associates and to clients and associates regarding new applications, formal requirements, filing details, etc.
Assist in filing of U.S., International (PCT), and foreign patent applications (including preparation and review of necessary filing documents)
Process Office Actions from US and foreign patent offices
Familiarity with the USPTO Patent Center, and experience filing patent applications and responses therein
Prepare, maintain and update reports for clients regarding status of applications and patents, including reporting filing receipts for applications, publication notices and forwarding patent certificates
Requirements
Minimum of 2-5 years Intellectual Property experience and have previous foreign filing experience, and strong computer skills
General knowledge of Patent Prosecution rules/regulations
Detail oriented, highly skilled, flexible and have the ability to prioritize a busy workload
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required for successful achievement
