We are hiring an IT Support Technician to support our corporate Information Technology department which works in partnership with our portfolio companies.

Position Summary Reporting to the VP of IT, the IT Support Technician will provide end‑user support and deploy hardware/software. This position is onsite and located in Macon, GA. This individual will work with various teams and divisions across the US & Canada to support end users and IT initiatives.

Desired Professional Skills and Experience

Associate’s degree in information systems or Equivalent Certifications.

3+ years of experience in IT or related projects.

Experience troubleshooting end‑user issues.

Be knowledgeable in setup for enterprise hardware/software.

Microsoft Office/365

Microsoft Server

Dynamics 365 Business Central

Hyper‑V

Strong complex problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to learn quickly and manage time effectively.

Proven written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Install and configure computer software, hardware, network, and peripheral equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues quickly and efficiently.

Speaking to users to quickly get to the root of their problem,

Repair and replace equipment as necessary.

Create accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.

Provide steps to help internal and external users resolve technical problems.

Three Remote warehouses

Remote Users

Provide training for end users on new technology and software.

Assist with on‑boarding and off‑boarding of users.

Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses.

Test and evaluate new technologies.

Create and maintain system documentation.

Maintain and validate data/system backups.

Education and Experience Requirements

Associate degree in Information Systems or Equivalent Certifications.

Three years of experience in IT or related projects.
