Data Center Planning Analyst

– Apex Systems Job Description:

Apex Systems is seeking a Data Center Planning Analyst to support our financial client. The analyst plays a critical role in strategic planning and operational support of the organization’s data center infrastructure.

THIS IS NOT A DATA ANALYST POSITION . Responsibilities

Plan data center layouts, cabling infrastructure, and power distribution to ensure stability, flexibility, and resiliency. Complete planning of complex device installations within the data center, considering standard business practices and established processes. Demonstrate understanding of IT departmental responsibilities, change management, problem determination/resolution, and resource allocation. Provide support and oversight for the IT Data Center Security Policy. Collaborate with Data Center Services teammates and other technology teams to support corporate objectives, project goals and initiatives. Apply strong project management skills to coordinate project activity for the Data Center Services Team. Develop and maintain documentation for supported IT Enterprise Infrastructure, including updates to Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM). Maintain ongoing knowledge of facilities management and technology within the supported IT Enterprise Infrastructure. Qualifications

Experience planning data center layouts, cabling infrastructure, and/or power distribution stability, flexibility, and resiliency. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Understanding of technology concepts. Location

Plano, TX Onsite expectation

100% onsite – 5 days weekly Pay

$50-$54/hr W2 Note
