All people, citizens and employees, will be treated with respect, relevance, and importance.**HIRING RANGE: $37.85 - $42.05/hour**Oversees the accuracy and integrity of the City’s asset data by maintaining the asset management database and performing field verification of physical assets. Supports lifecycle planning and decision-making through reliable asset information and reporting. This position is responsible for City-owned furniture, fixtures, equipment, and building-related assets and does not include direct responsibility for IT hardware, fleet vehicles or parts, or Police Department–specific equipment.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities***Incumbent is accountable for all duties of this job, and other projects and responsibilities may be added at the City’s discretion. Employees must be able to perform the essential duties of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.** Serves as the primary administrator for the City’s asset management database, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards.* Conducts routine field verification of physical assets to confirm condition, make, model, serial number, installation date, and operational status.* Updates asset records in the database based on field observations and department feedback.* Analyzes asset data to identify trends, forecast lifecycle needs, and support data-driven maintenance and replacement planning.* Collaborates with Finance, Sustainability, Facilities, and IT to align asset management practices with cost optimization, energy efficiency, and risk mitigation goals.* Works with Purchasing and Community Resources to ensure new assets are properly onboarded into the system and tagged with required asset data.* Partners with Risk Management and the City’s insurance broker to maintain accurate asset coverage records and replacement cost valuations.* Collaborates with IT to improve integration between the asset management database, work order systems, and financial platforms.* Establishes data governance procedures and performs regular audits to maintain the integrity of asset information.* Generates recurring and ad hoc reports on asset condition, utilization, and lifecycle forecasts to support management and budgeting decisions.* Provides training and user support for departmental staff entering or accessing asset information.* Coordinates the removal, transfer, or disposal of retired assets in compliance with City policies.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Reporting Relationships**Supervision Received: Facilities & Infrastructure ManagerSupervision Exercised: None.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** Familiarity with insurance reporting and replacement cost valuation preferred.* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to translate technical information for nontechnical audiences.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or anomalies.* Comfortable working in both office and field environments to collect and validate data.* Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprints.**Technological Skills*** Experience with Microsoft Office Suite* Experience with OpenGov Software or comparable asset management software preferred* Experience with Workday Software preferred* Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Workday reporting) preferred* Knowledge of data classification standards, naming conventions, and database management best practices preferred**Education and Experience*** Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, facility management, information technology, computer information systems, geography, or data analytics preferred.* Experience: Experience performing relevant IT tasks, data analysis, or database management preferred. Experience with asset or inventory management preferred.**Certification/Licenses/Specialized Training*** Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.**Must successfully complete and maintain required state or departmental physical** **standards and certifications.****Working Conditions and Physical Requirements****Medium Work:**
