This role provides direct, high‑quality, timely support to customers via telephone, mail, and email to address their needs or concerns. You will also process ACH and debit card transactions, courtesy pay, NSF and return items, periodic payments, and wire transfers accurately and promptly. The position includes ongoing monitoring of BSA, CIP, ADD, CDD, EDD, and OFAC reports.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Process ACH credits and debits, returned deposits, adjustments from check‑card processors, post payroll checks, etc., ensuring customer accounts are current and minimizing loss potential.

Set up ACH origination for customer accounts transferring funds to/from other financial institutions.

Distribute exception reports to applicable division staff for corrective action and follow up to ensure corrections are made.

Initial CTR exemption and annual reviews, MSB reviews, revocations, and ATM holder reviews.

Ensure OFAC reviews are completed for new accounts and division transactions.

Prepare monthly BSA status reports and present to COO for the FHB Board Meeting.

Verify and approve wire assignments; assist GBCI in posting domestic and international wire transfers between institutions.

Respond to customer and branch staff requests to resolve account inquiries and issues efficiently.

Post checks to customer accounts and return inaccurate checks to the debiting institution.

Close negative accounts when delinquent for over 60 days and initiate third‑party delinquency notices.

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Comply with all company policies, applicable laws, and regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC.

About You Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Two to five years of related banking experience, including preparatory positions.

Knowledge, Skill & Ability

Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy in all customer interactions.

High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Prioritization and effective time‑management skills.

Professional manner, consistent courtesy, and strong customer service.

Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure, meeting competing deadlines.

Independent and team‑oriented work style.

Understanding and following complex written and oral instructions.

Effective verbal and written communication.

Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, ten‑key, and general computer applications.

Working knowledge of standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements The role may require sitting for extended periods, repetitive hand motions, speaking, hearing, standing, walking, lifting up to 10 lbs, and processing visual tasks such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, and inspecting small parts. You must be able to operate office equipment and work extended hours or travel off‑site as required.

Working Conditions Routine indoor work in a climate‑controlled shared workspace with minimal noise.
