Provides direct, high quality, timely support to customers via telephone, mail and email to address their needs or concerns; and processes ACH and debit cards, courtesy pay, nsf and return items, periodic payments, and wire transfers in an accurate and timely manner. Reviews BSA, CIP, ADD, CDD, EDD and OFAC reports. Major Duties & Responsibilities
Process ACH credits and debits, returned deposits, adjustments from check card processors, post payroll checks etc. into customer accounts daily to ensure credits are available and debits are paid or returned, and accounts are current and minimize loss potential. Initial CTR exemption and annual reviews, MSB reviews and revocations. ATM holder reviews. Assure OFAC reviews are completed for new accounts and division transactions. Prepare monthly reports and BSA Status Reports and send to COO for presentation at FHB Board Meeting. Verify and approve wire assignments. Assist GBCI in posting domestic and international wire transfers to ensure accurate and timely transfer of customer funds. Receive and respond to customer and branch staff requests to resolve account inquiries and issues to achieve customer satisfaction. Post checks to customer accounts and return inaccurate checks to the debiting banking institution to ensure only correct items are posted. Close negative accounts (checking and savings) when more than 60 days delinquent to stop further activity and initiate a third‑party delinquent notice. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Comply with all company policies, procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. About You
We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual capable of juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment. Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Two to five years of similar or related banking experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
Knowledge, Skill, Ability (Other Skills):
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy in client interactions. High attention to detail and strong organization skills. Prioritization and time‑management abilities. Professional conduct, courtesy, and customer‑service orientation. Fast, accurate work capable of meeting competing deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Follow complex written and oral instructions. Effective verbal and written communication. Basic computer skills and proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, ten‑key, and general office applications. Working knowledge of standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for long periods and perform repetitive hand motions, talk, and type. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs. Routine operation of computer, telephone, copiers, and other office equipment for 6‑8 hours/day. Regular, reliable, and timely attendance required. Capability to climb/descend stairs in an emergency. Working Conditions
Work is performed indoors in a climate‑controlled shared office area with minimal noise. Mental Requirements
Work independently or with limited supervision; follow written and oral instructions; deliver clear and logical information; handle multiple priorities under deadline pressure; exercise discretion on confidential matters. What We Offer
