Self Pay Operations Specialist

Opportunity The Self‑Pay Operations Specialist follows up on patient accounts with a self‑pay balance for assigned client(s), performing responsibilities while meeting regulatory compliance and organizational policies. Position is on‑site at Blue Ash CBO, Cincinnati, OH.
Pay: $15.50–$16.55 /hr based on experience.
Essential Job Functions
Customer Obsession: Provide exceptional experiences for clients, patients, and colleagues.

Print and mail medical records, itemized bills, and other required documents from client host systems, EIQ, shared folders, Teams, emails, or virtual fax.
Pull and distribute documentation to other departments.
Print daily hard‑copy payers UB s, 1500s, medical records & EOBs and process them for mailing.
Report daily volume, backlog, and workflow information; pull various reports and work on special projects.
Review patient accounts, work queues, patient portals, and respond to emails from patients, payors, attorneys, etc.
Identify and correct account errors; communicate with departments responsible for corrections.
Partner with other departments to resolve patient complaints or situations impacting the patient.
Required License
Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire (company paid).
Job Experience
Less than 1 year.
Education Level
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Valid Notary Public Certification.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Revenue cycle knowledge.
Critical thinking.
