Key Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and mentor quality control personnel.
Monitor manufacturing processes and products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits to maintain compliance with quality management systems.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality challenges and improve processes.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
3-5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, with prior supervisory experience.
In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor a team of quality technicians and inspectors.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, metrology, and inspection methodologies.
ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA) or equivalent professional quality certification preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical device, automotive, aerospace).
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or advanced Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Demonstrated experience leading Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
