Supervise and train a team of quality inspectors and technicians. Implement and monitor quality control processes and procedures on the production floor. Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain and update quality management system documentation in compliance with industry standards. Analyze quality data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Ensure all manufacturing processes and products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements. Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field 3-5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis) Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and effective communication skills Proficiency in data analysis and relevant quality management software ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA) or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred Bonus Qualifications
Experience with industry‑specific quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485). Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) through ASQ.
