Overview A client of Insight Global is seeking a Category Analyst to join their team. This person will be responsible for managing and synthesizing retailer and syndicated data to drive actionable insights and retail strategies. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, possess strong familiarity with space planning software (such as JDA/Blue Yonder, Apollo, or Spaceman), and demonstrate a proven ability to think strategically and translate insights into growth opportunities. This role requires a deep sense of accountability, ownership, and passion, as well as project management experience and strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. Experience with syndicated data tools (IRI, Nielsen, demographic and panel data, Numerator) and at least two years in category management—preferably within the Beer, Wine & Spirits industry—are highly valued.
Responsibilities
Manage and synthesize retailer and syndicated data to drive actionable insights and retail strategies.

Apply project management skills and strong communication to coordinate across teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing related fields
Strong familiarity using space planning software (JDA/Blue Yonder, Apollo or Spaceman)
Project management experience and strong communication skills with cross-functional teams
Ability to synthesize and leverage multiple data points/insights (shopper, consumer, category, product) to create retail strategies that unlock growth
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
2+ years’ experience in category management
Beer, Wine & Spirits background in a sales or category capacity
Engagement and Location
Duration: Long-term extending contract
Location: Irving, TX 75062 — 5 days onsite (Mon-Fri)
