Delivery Project Lead
Location: WestLake, Texas
Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Developer to join our team, working on projects for one of our largest clients in the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing cutting‑edge technology applications, with a focus on Mainframe technologies.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and management of Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS and DB2.
Manage and coordinate team activities to ensure timely sprint deliveries.
Provide automation demonstrations and walkthroughs to client teams.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth QA delivery throughout the SDET lifecycle.
Supervise data and environment coordination for project activities.
Conduct automation meetings and provide accurate and timely status updates to the project team.
Coordinate schedules for builds and fixes, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
Design, develop and implement test automation frameworks within a DevOps context.
Participate in daily status calls to track project progress and address any issues.
Mandatory Skills
Proficient in Mainframe Development with hands‑on experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS and DB2.
Strong team management skills with experience in sprint delivery.
Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
Experience in leading automation initiatives and providing client‑facing demonstrations.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and story point estimation.
Ability to work independently and manage a team in an Agile environment.
Knowledge of Splunk for monitoring and analysis.
Enterprise COBOL is a deal‑breaker skill.
Preferred Skills
Hands‑on experience with J2ME and Spring Boot is a plus.
Experience in test automation framework design and implementation.
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech), Engineering (BE), Computer Applications (BCA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or an equivalent technical degree from a reputed institution.
