KPMG is currently seeking a Global Executive & Private Client Group (GEPC) Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice. Responsibilities
Accountable for supporting and overseeing large outsourcing engagements/projects related to cross‑border employment‑based processes including HR policies, benefits, retirement plans, taxes and the relocation process. Oversee and support the management of day‑to‑day services within our global HRS practice, coordinating with third‑party providers, leveraging technology, and mentoring and overseeing our Japanese and Korean bilingual staff. Maintain service focus centered on supporting Japanese and Korean‑headquartered organizations. Develop, enhance, and monitor service models to ensure a consistent high‑level customer experience and that pre‑established client service‑level agreements are satisfied. Serve as a central point of contact and primary client interface regarding the support of Japanese and non‑Japanese executives and their families relocating to the U.S. for international assignments; services include working directly with client business leaders to ensure successful employee transfers and comprehensive HR support. Qualifications
Minimum three years of recent, prior hands‑on HR support and administrative work experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. Working knowledge of employment‑based compensation arrangements and compliance processes, including gathering information to support international transfers, coordinating with third‑party providers, and providing translation services as needed. Familiarity with payroll, Workday, and other HR systems for large Japanese‑headquartered companies; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required; experience with PeopleSoft, SharePoint, and Taleo is desired. Fluent in English; Japanese preferred. Self‑motivated and driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Salary range (California): $66,900 - $122,200.
