Maintain safety, quality, productivity and performance standards, while meeting production goals. Provides support to employees as required**.****REPORTS TO (Title)**: Director of Operations**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Assign workload and priorities to direct and indirect employees* Maintain product quality and quantity standards regarding output* Enforce operating policies and procedures* Provide training and assistance to employees* Interview candidates for open positions* Resolve union issues**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES:*** Demonstrate leadership ability* Results oriented* Works well with employees and internal customers* Strong organizational skills* Good computer skills**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:*** 2-5 years of manufacturing experience* Leadership experience**WORK ENVIRONMENT:*** Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.* General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.* The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
