Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and closure of manufacturing projects, including new product introductions, process improvements, and equipment installations.
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, ensuring alignment with production goals.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to production timelines, supply chain, and quality.
Facilitate cross‑functional communication and collaboration among engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams.
Monitor project progress against established metrics, implement corrective actions, and report status to stakeholders.
Ensure all manufacturing projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality specifications.
Manage vendor and supplier relationships for critical project materials, equipment, and services.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience managing projects within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain operations.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) with PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Experience with risk management, budget control, and project scheduling tools.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Experience with common manufacturing ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Familiarity with automation technologies and Industry 4.0 principles
Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
