Position Summary The Production Planning Manager / Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive production schedules that align customer demand, inventory objectives, and manufacturing capacity across Tuuci’s global operations.
This role serves as the critical link between sales forecasts and production execution, ensuring optimal resource utilization while consistently meeting delivery commitments in Make-to-Order (MTO), Assemble-to-Order (ATO), and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain master production schedules across all product lines, balancing customer requirements with manufacturing capacity and material availability
Lead production planning for MTO, ATO, and ETO environments, including custom shade structures, parasols, cabanas, and pergolas
Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI SyteLine), leading the transition from offline planning tools to fully integrated ERP-based scheduling
Act as architect of the digital planning environment by optimizing ERP logic, parameters, and automation to support complex workflows
Strategically configure and continuously optimize CSI SyteLine MRP and Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) modules (safety stock, lead times, lot sizes, time fences)
Establish and enforce data governance standards; audit Item Masters, BOMs, and Routings to ensure clean, accurate planning data
Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual planning activities, eliminating reliance on spreadsheets
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ERP usage within the planning function
Train cross-functional teams (Procurement, Production, Sales) on proper system usage to ensure accurate data flow and financial integrity
Serve as primary liaison with IT and external consultants for ERP upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting
Ensure production transactions (work orders, material issues, labor reporting, inventory adjustments) are accurately configured to post to the correct General Ledger accounts
Partner with Sales and Customer Service to establish realistic delivery commitments and manage customer expectations
Monitor production KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate with Procurement to align material availability with production schedules while minimizing inventory carrying costs
Collaborate with Engineering to integrate new product introductions and engineering changes into planning processes
Lead demand forecasting and contribute to capacity planning and capital investment decisions
Lead cross-functional initiatives to implement best practices in production planning and system enhancements
Support new product launches and special projects requiring complex scheduling coordination
Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on production performance, capacity utilization, and delivery metrics
Education & Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning and master scheduling
Proven experience in MTO, ATO, and ETO manufacturing environments
Strong proficiency with integrated ERP systems and planning modules
Deep technical understanding of MRP/APS logic and parameter configuration
Experience with demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong leadership capabilities and cross-functional influence
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Hands‑on experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI SyteLine)
Preferred
APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD)
Experience in custom manufacturing or architectural products
Advanced Excel and data analytics skills
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
Experience supporting global or multi‑site manufacturing operations
