Enterprise Talent Solutions - Consilio - (Formerly LPI) A leading Washington, DC law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its exceptionally busy and high‑performing litigation team. This group generates approximately 60% of the firm’s revenue and has recently added more attorneys that need support. The firm offers a 4/1 hybrid schedule, with overtime expected, particularly during trial preparation or urgent litigation deadlines.
Strong cite‑checking skills are essential and will be tested.
Overview This position will work closely with and report to two senior litigation paralegals and one junior paralegal.
Paralegal Tasks
Perform advanced cite checking (Bluebook) with exceptional accuracy; familiarity with Best Authority required
Proofread documents for contextual, grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors
Prepare, organize, and maintain pleadings files, hearing and trial notebooks, deposition and expert witness notebooks, exhibits and related materials
Conduct legal and factual research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER, and firm resources
Manage electronic filings using ECF and other court systems
Assist with discovery, document review, and litigation support tasks
Maintain docket awareness and assist with deadline tracking using systems such as CompuLaw
Review and track invoices and related payments for the attorney group
Pre‑bill review: confirm accuracy, ensure compliance with client‑specific billing terms, and coordinate with accounting
Qualifications
5-10 years of litigation paralegal experience (Complex or Commercial preferred)
Advanced cite‑checking proficiency (Bluebook) — required
Intermediate to advanced experience with LexisNexis, Westlaw, and PACER
Familiarity with document management systems and litigation support databases (Relativity helpful)
Ability to work overtime with short notice
