Pay Range $20.00/hr – $30.00/hr (base)
$20.67/hr – $30.78/hr (actual hourly rate dependent on experience)

Job Description A Medical Assistant in an ambulatory OB‑GYN clinic supports the clinical team in providing quality care to patients with acute and chronic needs. Responsibilities include:
Assisting clinicians during examinations and procedures.
Gathering and documenting patient information accurately.
Communicating clearly with patients via telephone and in‑person interactions.
Coordinating with cross‑functional teams to ensure continuity of care.
Operating monitoring equipment, preparing medication, and maintaining supplies.
Using electronic medical records (EMR) to enter patient data.
Ensuring compliance with privacy, confidentiality and PHI protection policies.
Minimum Qualifications
Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or one year of medical assistant experience, or current RN/LPN license.
Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Basic computer skills with word processing and data entry.
Professional manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with patients and team members to deliver high quality care.
Commitment to protecting patient privacy and PHI.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting.
Computer literacy in EMR systems and supporting software.
National MA certification (e.g., RMA, NCMA, CCMA, CMA).
Additional Duties
Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment.
Capacity to lift and move patients and equipment.
Driving responsibilities if required by role.
Ability to navigate busy clinical environments.
