Clinic Description

As a Mental Health Therapist at Ellie Mental Health’s outpatient clinic in Overland Park, you’ll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care. Responsibilities and Duties

Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation including case notes according to company policy.

Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.

Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.

Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.

Serve a diverse client population, including adults, children, teens, couples, and families, and be willing to work some evening and weekend hours to accommodate clients’ needs.

Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week, with the expectation of targeting at least 30 client visits per week.

Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.

Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.

Other meaningful and important duties as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university and licensure in the designated field.

Experience completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Stable and appropriate boundaries with clients.

Timely completion and submission of documentation and other required documents.

Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.

Proficiency in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus). Training will be provided.
