DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide professional services for adults with mental and physical illnesses from all programs on our campus. You will assess and treat residents, develop treatment plans, and set goals. Your formal assessments will focus on functional mobility, ambulation, transfers, range of motion, pain, skin integrity, fall risk, balance, and wheelchair use. You will also address physical conditioning, gait training, transfers on indoor and outdoor surfaces, therapeutic exercise, modalities, manual therapy, positioning, and bracing. This role requires patient‑centered treatment to develop an atmosphere of trust, hope, and dignity that is integrated with overall plans to address mental, physical health, and psychosocial needs. In addition, you will provide both individual and group therapy, as well as educate patients and providers involved in resident care.
WORK SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
Overtime and travel as needed
Free parking
Telework: not an option in this position
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Must possess a license to practice physical therapy issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy.
PA residency requirement waived. Must be able to perform essential job functions.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Conditional offer requires submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance.
