DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist, you will maintain and improve the performance of Torrance State Hospital through data collection, analysis, and review. Your role supports accreditation and certification compliance, implementation of the risk management program, prevention of falls and other incidents, mitigation of risks, identification of improvement opportunities, and reporting of valuable insights into hospital services.
WORK SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week, weekdays 7:30 AM‑3:30 PM with a 30‑minute lunch.
Travel and overtime as operationally necessary.
Telework: Not offered.
Salary: Starting salary may be non‑negotiable in some cases.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Two years of professional experience as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team in a public or private health care facility and a bachelor’s degree; OR
Two years of clinical experience in a human services agency, including at least one year of administrative, evaluative, or consultative experience in a health care program; a bachelor’s degree with major coursework in social work, nursing, health care administration, behavioral sciences, or a related field; OR
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must meet PA residency requirement.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
A conditional offer will require a medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Conditional offer requires approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance.
