Qualifications
Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
Proficient in minimally invasive/robotic surgery (MAKO)
Works collaboratively in a team
Enjoys working in an academic research and teaching environment
Where You’ll Work The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Creighton University School of Medicine, in partnership with CHI Health and Creighton University Medical Center, seeks an academic orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine to join our expanding clinic practice in Omaha, NE. The busy Orthopaedic surgeon will join a division of Sports Medicine Surgery completing nearly 1,500 surgeries per year, committed to the highest quality outcomes. In collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine, the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery will establish a residency program led by our Department Chair, Dr. Ranjan Gupta, in conjunction with a newly created Orthopaedic Center of Excellence at CHI Health. As a busy academic institution, Creighton University Medical Center – CHI Health boasts a number of additional opportunities, including the opportunity to conduct research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine. The Sports Medicine Division is a busy part of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery integrating medical students and undergraduates in a rich teaching environment.
Pay Range $336 – $346 per hour
