It is a 362‑bed acute‑care hospital with a 24‑hour STEMI‑certified emergency department and primary stroke center, among other services. Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is directly accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department. The nurse communicates with physicians about changes in a patient’s clinical condition, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology; responds quickly and accurately to changes and/or treatment responses; and is knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and the reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies. Qualifications Current and valid CA RN License Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute‑care hospital or ER setting preferred BCLS, ACLS upon hire and maintain current PALS required within 30 days from date of hire EDAP and EDAP II required within 6 months from date of hire Pay Transparency
Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $57.35 to $57.35 per hour. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/ or the employment status. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire. Employment Status
