Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is directly accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department. They communicate with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. They must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. They are knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies.
Qualifications Education, Experience, Training
Current and valid CA RN License
Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or E.R. setting preferred.
BCLS, ACLS upon hire and maintain current.
PALS required within 30 days from date of hire.
EDAP and EDAP II required within 6 months from date of hire.
Pay Transparency Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $57.35 to $57.35. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
