On‑Call Registered Nurse
Join the compassionate care team at St. Croix Hospice as an On‑Call Registered Nurse. You will provide timely, skilled, and compassionate care during evenings, nights, and weekends, responding to urgent patient needs and completing evening/weekend admissions. This 7 days on / 7 days off overnight schedule offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact. Qualifications & Responsibilities
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Bachelor, or Master’s). 1+ years of recent acute care experience required; hospice or home care experience preferred. Current RN license in the state of practice and CPR certification. Respond to triage calls and provide after‑hours nursing visits for symptom management, admissions, and care plan updates. Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, offering education and support to patients and caregivers. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation of care, outcomes, and communication. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance. Benefits & Schedule
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off Monday‑Thursday 5:00 pm‑8:00 am and Friday 5 pm‑Monday 8 am. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Paid time off and paid holidays. The starting salary range for this role is $75,000‑$101,000 annual base salary.
